The tiny platform which is Mariza is
your jumping off point for spectacular swimming in this tiny cove.
Nestled at the bottom a
track running from the village of Limenaria, try and swim here early in the
day and before about 2 or 3 o’clock the afternoon. After this
the sea tends to get a little rough and as access to the sea is over rocks,
safety issues need to be taken seriously.
It is worth an early visit to swim in these deep and clear waters,
surrounded by the sheer rock faces which make up the geography of this part
of the island.
Take something comfortable to sunbathe on and refreshments for a longer stay. There is only room for a very few people at Mariza and therefore no space for a cafe!
